My name is Joshua Curry. I am a registered nurse and aspiring orchard farmer and nursery owner. This website documents my attempt to learn about and build an orchard that produces a variety of foods to increase my family’s resiliency. Some of those foods are harvested directly from trees, sometimes trees are planted to attract that food to our land.

Additionally, we strive to contribute to the progress of sustainable perennial agriculture. I believe that hazelnuts and chestnuts are the correct path forward for American agriculture. You can read more about why I believe these things in our sources page.
